RTHS Senior Grant Prusator has decided to play his college basketball at Highland Community College in Freeport his freshman year.
Grant was a 4-year starter for the Hubs as he scored 1,540 points. That puts him 3rd on the all-time scoring list at RTHS behind Ben Rand and Brandon Creason.
Prusator averaged 17 points his senior year. He played in only 17 of the 30 games due to a knee injury.
Prusator was a 3-time Eastern Division Northern Illinois Big 12 Conference selection and was named Special Mention All-State by the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association.
Grant had considered several colleges in Illinois before deciding on Highland. He will sign paper work for the fall semester tomorrow during a ceremony at RTHS.
