Blackhawks tie NHL record with win over Vancouver

 Andrew Shaw scored the deciding goal in the shootout to give the Blackhawks a 4-3 win over the Canucks. Chicago has at least a point in 16 straight games to start the season, tying a mark set by the 2006-07 Anaheim Ducks. The 'Hawks have won three straight to move to 13-0-and-3. Marian Hossa had a pair of goals, but had to be helped off the ice after a collision with Jannik Hansen in the third period. Patrick Sharp also scored for the Blackhawks while Ray Emery made 29 saves. The Canucks trailed 3-1 but rallied with two late third-period goals, one by Alex Edler on the power play and the other from Kevin Bieksa. Daniel Sedin  recorded his fifth goal of the season for Vancouver. Corey Schneider made 40 saves as the Canucks lost their third straight to fall to 8-3-and-4.
