Matt Prater nailed the go-ahead, 52-yard field goal with 1:35 left to play as the Lions edged the Bears, 27-24, in Chicago. The Lions scored three touchdowns in the second quarter, two on Matthew Stafford touchdown passes and the other on a D.J. Hayden fumble return. The return touchdown was Detroit's seventh of the year, tying a team record. The Lions have won three straight to improve to 6-and-4 on the year.
Tarik Cohen tied the game with 5:02 left in the fourth on a 15-yard touchdown run for Chicago. Jordan Howard finished with 125 rushing yards and a score as the Bears fell to 3-and-7.
Connor Barth missed a 46 yard field goal in the closing seconds that would have tied the game and sent it into overtime.
