The Bulls ended the first quarter on a 12-0 run and never trailed afterwords in a 115-109 win in Charlotte. Nikola Mirotic posted 24 points, one of four Bulls to clear 20 points. Jimmy Butler and Dwyane Wade each scored 23 points and Rajon Rondo added 20. Chicago ended a five-game losing streak.
Jeremy Lamb scored 26 points, and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist added 22 for the Hornets. Charlotte has dropped three of its past four games.
The Bulls will be at home on Wednesday against Memphis.
