Chicago Baseball

Kris Bryant belted his first home run of the spring, a grand slam
in the fourth inning to power the Chicago Cubs to a 9-3 win over
the Los Angeles Dodgers. Kyle Hendricks, who led the majors with a
2.13 ERA last season, threw 16 pitches over two innings in his
first spring outing to earn the win.

The Cubs loaded the bases with two outs in the fourth. Jason
Heyward drew a walk on four pitches to force in a run setting the
stage for Bryant, whose line drive over the left-field fence put
the Cubs up 7-2.

White Sox 10, Angels 2

Chicago almost pulled off one of the rarest of feats back-t0-back
inside-the-park home runs in a four-run eighth inning. Peter
Bourjos tripled and scored on an error by center fielder Michael
Hermosillo. Eddy Alvarez followed with a true inside-the-parker on
a fly ball to left field.
