Andrew Wiggins scored a game-high 27 points as the Timberwolves manhandled the Bulls 117-89 in Minneapolis. Karl-Anthony Towns netted 22 points, while Ricky Rubio finished with 17 points and 11 assists. Minnesota picked up just its second win in seven games.
Doug McDermott and Bobby Portis each netted 16 points for the Bulls, who were without Dwyane Wade, Jimmy Butler and Nikola Mirotic. The Bulls wrapped up a six-game trip with a 2-and-4 record.
The Bulls return to action tomorrow night at the United Center against Toronto. The game can be heard on Good Time Oldies 1060.
