Injured Bulls star Derrick Rose will have knee surgery today. The team says he will have all or part of his torn meniscus removed. This is the second time Rose has torn the meniscus in his right knee, with the first being in November of 2013. He also tore the ACL in his left knee back in May of 2012. The Bulls feel there is still a chance Rose could return to play this season
The Bulls resume their seven-game homestand tonight against Kevin Garnett and the Minnesota Timberwolves. Chicago is 2-and-1 so far on the residency following Wednesday's 98-86 loss to Charlotte. The Bulls sit at 36-and-22 on the year. The Wolves come in at 13-and-43.
