Jimmy Butler scored 22 points and Taj Gibson had 20 as the shorthanded Bulls crushed the Clippers 105-89 at STAPLES Center. Chicago outscored LA 31-14 in the third quarter. Mike Dunleavy added 19 points and Joakim Noah had 11 with 16 rebounds and six assists for the 8-and-3 Bulls, who were without starters Derrick Rose and Pau Gasol. Jamal Crawford dropped in a game-high 24 points off the bench for the Clippers, who fell to 5-and-4. Blake Griffin donated 19 points and 10 boards and DeAndre Jordan recorded 10 and 17 in defeat.
The Bulls will be at Sacramento on Thursday night.
