Rochelle police are investigating a bomb threat involving the Middle School at 111 East School Avenue. No explosive devices were found in the building.
The message was found a short time after 6:30 yesterday evening in a bathroom stall. Parents in the school district have been notified about the incident. No arrest has been made by Rochelle police at this time.
The Rochelle elementary board held their monthly meeting last night at the school without incident.
Additional police will be at the Middle School today for security involving the children and staff.
