A Rochelle man was arrested last night after he allegedly displayed a handgun at a local business.
30-year old Gilberto Mario Nieves was arrested on the charge of aggravated assault and unlawful use of a weapon.
Police report that Nieves was at a local business and asked the customer next to him to buy him a drink. He then allegedly displayed the handgun.
No one was injured following the incident. Nieves had left the business by the time police arrived on the scene.
He was located about 2 hours later at his home in the 700 block of Jones Road and taken into custody.
Nieves remains in the Ogle County jail with no bond set. He is scheduled to appear before a judge this weekend in Oregon.
