Police believe the family members killed in a Rockford house fire over the weekend may have been the victims of homicide. Officials say detectives suspect the mother and her three children could have been dead before the blaze was set Saturday morning.
The victims were identified as 27-year-old Keandra Austin, six-year-old Keeryn Austin, nine-year-old V'Angelo Totty and six-month-old Aliya Beasley-Austin. The family had moved into the home about two months ago.
