An Ogle County judge set bond at $250,000 Monday for a Rochelle man following an alleged sexual abuse incident in the Hub City.
26-year old Jesse Wendel has been charged with the felony offense of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
The alleged altercation took place early Sunday morning. The female victim was treated and then released at Rochelle Community Hospital.
Both Wendel and the victim were located near the intersection of Illinois 251 and Route 38.
Wendel returns to court on Friday for a status hearing. Under his bond conditions, he can not have contact with the victim or anyone under the age of 18 years old.
Wendel remains in jail in lieu of bond.
