Chicago's mayor has revealed new reform measures dealing with police officers involved in shootings. Chicago cops involved in shootings will now immediately be removed from the field under a new police department policy.
Police officers who have fired their weapons will be placed on administrative duty for at least 30 days while their training and fitness for duty are investigated. This comes after two officer-involved shootings took place in Chicago over the weekend, one of which left an NIU student dead.
