Bond remains at $150,000 for an Oregon man after being arrested in a sexual abuse case.
49-year old Steve Irvin was taken into custody last Monday on a warrant for the Class 2 felony offense of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
Authorities say that he allegedly had inappropriate sexual contact with a child under the age of 13 years old. The alleged incident took place at a home in Oregon between October 17th and 20th.
Irvin appeared in court yesterday for an arraignment. He was given a preliminary hearing date for next Wednesday in Oregon. At that time, Irvin is scheduled to plead guilty or innocent to the felony offense.
He remains in jail in lieu of bond.
