State officials say about 63-hundred-people have started filling out applications to get access to medical marijuana. Only 800 applications have been completed. Some of those applicants have already received approval letters. The state's medical marijuana program allows people with certain conditions to get up to two-and-a-half ounces of pot every two weeks. Only people whose last names begin with the letters A through L can submit applications. Everyone else will be allowed to apply November 1st.
