Property owners in Ogle County are reminded that the 2nd installment on their tax bill is due today. Over 29,300 tax bills were mailed last May from the Ogle County Treasurer's office.
Ogle County expects to collect 119 million, 300 thousand dollars this year. That's $900,000 more than a year ago.
The increase includes a 10 percent hike for farm land in Ogle County.
Property tax bills can be paid at any financial institution in the area along with the Ogle County Treasurer's office in Oregon. The installment needs to be post marked today if mailed.
Property owners can also use the Illinois State Treasurer's E-Pay program.
