Illinois Senator Mark Kirk says that 429 unaccompanied minors from the Mexican border crisis are in Chicago. He says they are in the custody of the Health and Human Services Department and did not say where the kids are. Kirk added that the State Department is "not able to confirm if any of the children have a criminal record or background." He says 57-thousand unaccompanied kids from Central American countries have crossed the border since October.
