Tobias Enstrom scored the lone goal for Winnipeg, which slipped to 5-8-and-2. Ondrej Pavelec allowed four goals on 14 shots before making way for Al Montoya, who gave up one goal on 11 attempts.

The 76ers continued their improbable start with a 107-104 win over the Bulls at the Wells Fargo Center behind 28 points, 10 assists, four rebounds and three steals from rookie guard Michael Carter-Williams. Along with the win over Chicago, Philadelphia has also beaten the defending champion Heat on its way to 3-and-0. Spencer Hawes added 18 points and 11 rebounds, while Evan Turner chipped in 20 points. Bulls guard Derrick Rose early season struggles continued as he shot 4-for-14 and turned the ball over eight times. He scored 13 points. Carlos Boozer had 22 points and 10 rebounds for Chicago, which fell to 1-and-2.
