During last night's RTHS board meeting, several assistant coaches were approved for the winter sports season.
Rich Harvey will be an assistant coach in wrestling with Olivia Caron, a graduate of RTHS, will be an assistant coach in the girls basketball program.
Kim Wagner was also named volunteer Swim Coach. This will enable any student-athlete the chance to participate in the state competition as an individual. RTHS does not have a swim team.
The RTHS Girls Tennis program held their annual banquet last night as several awards were handed out.
The Varsity High Point Award went to Haley Griffith and Lisa Noggle. The girls have qualified for the State Tennis Tournament in the doubles competition this Thursday in the Mt. Prospect area.
The most improved player on the varsity was Shelby Mickey.
The High Point Award on the Frosh-Soph team was Elora Berg. The most improved player was Mercedes Castro.
