The Bears will be without defensive tackle Henry Melton for the rest of the season. Head coach Marc Trestman confirmed Monday that Melton suffered a torn ACL in Sunday night's win over the Steelers. Melton was carted off the field in the fourth quarter. The 26-year-old had 13 sacks over the last two seasons and was playing this season on Chicago's franchise tag.
The Bears are turning the page after Sunday's big win over the Steelers. Chicago is atop the NFC North at 3-and-0 and will hit the road to face the division-rival Lions on Sunday. Detroit is a game back of Chicago at 2-and-1 on the season. The Bears have won three straight meetings against the Lions.
WRHL's Pre-Game Show begins at 11:30 Sunday on Newstalk 1060.
