Two teams with postseason expectations meet at Soldier Field on this afternoon as the Bears welcome in the Cincinnati Bengals to Chicago. The Bears came up just short of the playoffs last season at 10-and-6 in the NFC North, losing out via tie-breaker to divisional foe Minnesota. Chicago is without linebacker Brian Urlacher, who after not reaching an agreement with the team, retired in the offseason. This is also the first game for new head coach Marc Trestman, who took over for Lovie Smith.
The Bears will have their full roster ready as no one will have to sit out the game due to an injury.
Today's game can be heard on WRHL with the Pre-Game Show at 11:30 on Newstalk 1060.
