Donnie Murphy capped off a four-run seventh inning rally with the go ahead two-run homer as the Cubs beat the Marlins 9-7 from Wrigley Field. The Cubs clubbed four home runs as a team. Carlos Villanueva picked up the "W" in relief, throwing one inning giving up one run on two hits. Kevin Gregg closed out the game for his 29th save as the North Siders avoided the sweep. Ryan Webb lost his sixth game of the year. Adeiny Hechavarria hit a grand slam and Logan Morrison had a two-run homer for the Marlins, who had its three-game win streak snapped.
