Hjalmarsson gets contract extension with Blackhawks

The Blackhawks agreed to a five-year contract extension with defenseman Niklas Hjalmarsson. The deal goes through 2018-2019. He had five assists and a plus-10 rating in 23 playoff games last season as Chicago won the Stanley Cup.
