Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall appears ready to go. The veteran returned to practice yesterday at Halas Hall and spoke out his recovery from arthroscopic hip surgery that took place during the offseason. Marshall expressed frustration about his progress last week, but says he's ready to play when the Bears host the Bengals this Sunday. The Pre-Game Show begins at 11:30 on Newstalk 1060.
The Bears are adding some depth at tight end. Chicago has acquired Dante Rosario from the Dallas Cowboys in exchange for a seventh-round draft pick in 2014. Rosario played in 13 games with San Diego last season and signed with Dallas in June. He had 10 catches for 95 yards and three touchdowns last season. Chicago waived Kyle Adams to make room.
