Cubs pitcher Carlos Marmol could be headed to the Los Angeles Dodgers. ESPN Chicago reports the two sides are close to a deal for the 30-year-old right-hander. Marmol was designated for assignment by the Cubs last Tuesday, giving them 10 days to either trade or release him. It's not known what Chicago would get in return. Marmol is in the final season of a three-year, 21-million-dollar deal.
