Cardinals beat the Cubs 5-2

Yadier Molina was 2-for-4 with a two-run double to lead the Cardinals in a 5-2 win over the Cubs at Busch Stadium. Shelby Miller tossed five innings of two-hit ball to move to 8-and-4 for St. Louis, which has won two out of three. Edward Mujica recorded the final four outs for his 20th save of the year. Darwin Barney hit a solo homer in the ninth for Chicago, which has dropped two straight since a three-game winning streak. Travis Wood fell to 5-and-6 after allowing three earned runs over seven innings. The start of the game was delayed by just over two hours.
