White Sox lose their 7th straight game

Raul Ibanez belted a two-run homer to back a solid outing from Joe Saunders, as the Mariners doubled up the White Sox 4-2 in the opener of a three-game series at Safeco Field. Saunders gave up just one run over six-and-a-third innings as he improved to 4-and-5. Tom Wilhelmsen gave up a run in the ninth but held on for his 13th save. Jesus Sucre and Kendrys Morales also plated a run each for the M's, who have won three-of-five. Jeff Keppinger and Adam Dunn both had an RBI for Chicago, which suffered its seventh straight loss. John Danks allowed four runs, three earned, in six frames as he fell to 0-and-2.
