Jeff Keppinger's RBI single in the 11th inning lifted the White Sox to a 4-3 win over the visiting Marlins. It was Keppinger's second RBI of the game. Paul Konerko and Hector Gimenez each singled in a run for Chicago, which has won three out of four. John Danks was strong in his first start of the year, going six-plus innings and allowing three runs in a no-decision. Nate Jones picked up the win in relief. Derek Dietrich hit a two-run homer for Miami, which has lost three in-a-row. Ryan Webb suffered the loss in relief.

The Reds scored five runs in the fourth inning and never trailed again on their way to a 7-4 win over the Cubs. Ryan Hanigan hit a three-run home run, Brandon Phillips smacked a two-run shot and Joey Votto added a solo shot for the sizzling Reds. Cincinnati has won 11 of its last 13 games and four in-a-row. Votto has a 12-game hitting streak. The Cubs got a home run from starting and losing pitcher Scott Feldman and two hits from Luis Valbuena. Chicago lost its fifth straight game. Bronson Arroyo got the win to go to 5-and-4 and Feldman the loss to go to 4-and-4.
