Detroit skates past the Blackhawks 3-1

Gustav Nyquist and Drew Miller each lit the lamp in the second period to help the Red Wings in a 3-1 victory over the Blackhawks in Game Three of their Western Conference semifinal series. Pavel Datsyuk capped the scoring in the third for Detroit, which grabs a two games to one lead in the best-of-seven set. Jimmy Howard turned away 39 shots for the Wings, who also host Game Four on Thursday. Patrick Kane had the lone goal for Chicago, which has lost two straight after winning Game One at home.
