Daniel Murphy and Juan Lagares hit home runs to lead the Mets to a 4-3 come-from-behind win over the Cubs at Wrigley Field. Lagares hit his first major-league homer as the Mets captured two of the three games in the series. Ruben Tejada added two hits and Murphy's eighth-inning home run made a winner of Mets reliever Scott Rice, who is 2-and-3. Bobby Parnell pitched the ninth inning for his third save of the week and sixth of the season. Cubs pitcher Travis Wood and Ryan Sweeney hit solo home runs for the Cubs. Kyuji Fujikawa took the loss to go to 1-and-1.
The Cubs begin an 8-game road trip tomorrow night in Pittsburgh. Pitcher Matt Garza gets his 1st start of the season.
