The Blackhawks open up the 2013 Stanley Cup Playoffs tonight at home against the Minnesota Wild. Chicago is looking to become the first Presidents' Trophy winning team to win the Stanley Cup since the 2007-08 Red Wings. The 'Hawks were 2-0-and-1 against Minnesota this year. The Wild clinched a spot by winning their final game on Saturday.

The Blackhawks will be without forward Dave Bolland and goalie Ray Emery for Game One of their Western Conference quarterfinal series against the Wild tonight. Each will sit with a lower-body injury. Bolland has missed three straight games while Emery has sat two. Corey Crawford will get the start in goal and be backed up by Henrik Karlsson.

The White Sox start a three-game series against the Rangers tonight at the Ballpark in Arlington.  Jose Quintana puts his 2-and-0 record on the line against Texas ace Yu Darvish.  The White Sox looking to put the brakes on a two-game slide while the Rangers try to do the same.  First pitch is scheduled for 7:05. WRHL's Pre-Game Show begins at 6:30 on Newstalk 1060.Scott Hairston and Cody Ransom hit home runs for the Cubs in their 5-3 win over the Padres at Wrigley Field.  Michael Bowden got the win in relief to improve to 1-and-1 and Kevin Gregg earned his fourth save of the season.  The Cubs have won four of their last five games.  Everth  Cabrera had three hits and scored a pair of runs for the Padres.  Clayton Richard took the loss to fall to 0-and-3 after giving up all five runs in five-and-two-thirds innings. The loss snapped a four-game winning streak for San Diego.
