The Nets had an epic collapse in the fourth quarter and eventually lost to the Bulls in triple overtime, 142-134, to be put on the brink of elimination in the first round of the NBA playoffs. Brooklyn was outscored 16-2 in the final 2:53 of regulation with Bulls guard Nate Robinson scoring 23 points in the fourth quarter. Robinson finished the game 34 points in 29 minutes and fouled out in the second overtime. Taj Gibson and Joakim Noah also fouled out for Chcago. Noah tallied 15 points and 13 rebounds, while Jimmy Butler put up 16 points on only eight shots. Carlos Boozer posted 21 points and eight boards as the Bulls took a 3-1 series lead. They will try to close it out in Game Five on Monday in Brooklyn. Deron Williams led the Nets with 32 points and 10 assists. Joe Johnson chipped in 22 points including a floater in the lane as time expired in the first OT that kept Brooklyn alive. Brook Lopez contributed 26 points and 11 rebounds with four blocks.
