The Blackhawks scored twice in the opening period and never looked back in a 3-1 win over Calgary. Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews found the net in the first and Marcus Kruger scored in the third helping Chicago improve to 36-6-and-5. Corey Crawford had 25 saves in the victory for the Hawks, while Joe MacDonald racked up 35 for Calgary. Chris Butler fired in a shorthanded goal in the loss, as the Flames ended the regular season 19-24-and-4 overall.
The Blackhawks play at St. Louis tonight for their final regular season game.
