R.A. Dickey evened up his record at two helping the Blue Jays lock up the White Sox, 3-1. Dickey had to leave the game at the top of the seventh inning with neck and back tightness after pitching six scoreless innings with seven strikeouts and allowing two hits. Casey Janssen registered his fifth save. Toronto scored one in the first inning and two in the fifth. Rajai Davis was 2-for-4 with an RBI and run scored in the win. Chris Sale took a tough-luck loss striking out six and allowing three runs, only two of which were earned, in seven innings. Tyler Flowers had a one-run double in the eighth. The two teams split the four-game series.
