High School Basketball News
Freeport High School will have a new Boys Head Basketball Coach next season.
Jeff Zick resigned from the position last week.
Zick, a graduate of Rochelle Township High School, had been the head coach for the Pretzels for the past 3 seasons. Freeport was (5-23) this past season and (1-15) in the NIC-10.
Cathy Murphy also resigned earlier this month as the Girls Head Basketball Coach at Freeport High School.
