Rickie Weeks hit a two-run home run and the
Milwaukee Brewers rallied for a 5-4 win over the Chicago White Sox in the
final preseason game for both clubs on Saturday.
Jonathan Lucroy, Sean Halton and Logan Schafer each drove in a run in the
eighth inning rally for the White Sox. Burke Badenhop started the game and
spun a scoreless first inning, while Zach Kroenke worked two innings in relief
to earn the win.
Milwaukee opens its season at home against Colorado on Monday.
Adam Dunn hit a solo home run while Dewayne Wise, Brandon Short and Gordon
Beckham each drove in a run for the White Sox. Dylan Axelrod pitched 5 2/3
innings and gave up three runs on eight hits to take the loss.

Trevor Crowe clubbed a two-run single as part
of a three-run eighth inning that lifted the Houston Astros to a 6-3 victory
over the Chicago Cubs on Saturday in the final spring training game for both
Delino DeShields added an RBI single in the rally, while Domingo Santana
plated a pair and finished a home run shy of the cycle for the Astros, who
open the season Sunday on the road against the Texas Rangers.
Houston starter Brad Peacock allowed two hits over three scoreless frames.
Steve Clevenger registered two RBI and a run scored, while Nate Schierholtz
knocked in the other run for the Cubs. Starter Travis Wood struck out seven
and gave up two runs on five hits and three walks over 4 1/3 innings.
Chicago opens its 2013 slate in Pittsburgh on Monday.
