Shane Larkin drained a go-ahead, step-back three pointer with just over a minute left and Miami never looked back as the Hurricanes beat Illinois, 63-59, in the East Region of the NCAA Tournament. Larkin finished with 17 points and five assists to help the second-seeded Hurricanes move on to the Sweet 16 where they will face Marquette in Washington, D.C. on Thursday. Miami received a controversial call, which gave them the ball up two after an Illinois three-point attempt with 45 seconds left, and swung the game in its favor. Brandon Paul scored 18 points in the loss. D.J. Richardson and Tracy Abrams combined to shoot 4-of-21 from three. The Illini finished the season 23-and-13.
