The Bulls begin a three-game homestand tonight against the Cleveland Cavaliers at the United Center. Chicago has alternated wins and losses over its last five games following Sunday's 102-72 setback at Oklahoma City. The Bulls sit at 32-and-24 on the season. The Cavs are 18-and-38.
The Bulls will be without one of their defensive anchors for the immediate future. Taj Gibson will miss a couple of weeks with a sprained knee. He suffered the injury in the fourth quarter of the Bulls loss Sunday night against the Thunder. Gibson averages about 22 minutes a night with around eight points, five rebounds and one block. He is a big part of top-five ranked defense.
