The Celtics survived an eight-point third quarter and outlasted the Bulls 71-69. The Bulls had two desperation three-point tries to win the game, but one was blocked and the other one missed. Brandon Bass led the Celtics with 14 points and nine rebounds and Kevin Garnett added 12 points and 11 boards. Boston won for the eighth time in nine games. The Bulls got double-doubles from Joakim Noah and Carlos Boozer. Noah finished with 10 points and 16 rebounds and Boozer 11 points and 11 boards. Chicago has lost four of five games.
