Kenneth Faried scored 21 points to go with 12 rebounds, leading Denver to a 128-96 win over visiting Chicago. Ty Lawson also had a double-double with 16 points and 12 assists. Wilson Chandler had 24 points off the bench. The Bulls were outscored by 21 points in the third quarter. Chicago got 19 points from Daequan Cook and 18 points from Carlos Boozer. The Nuggets won their eighth straight game and the Bulls lost their third in the past four games.

Patrick Kane had two goals and an assist as the Blackhawks pounded the Coyotes, 6-2. Jonathan Toews, Viktor Stalberg and Bryan Bickell each scored a goal and recorded an assist. Patrick Sharp added three assists for the Blackhawks. Chicago won its third straight game. Martin Hanzal and Raffi Torres scored for the Coyotes, who had a two-game winning streak snapped. Thursday marked the first time that Torres and Marian Hossa played in the same game since last spring, when Torres launched himself into the air and drilled Hossa with a shoulder to the head and knocked him out of the playoffs.
