The Rochelle Hubs suffered another serious injury this week as leading scorer Matt Rosenwinkel injured his ankle in practise and will not play tonight in the game with Sterling.
Rosenwinkel is coming off a week where he scored 41 and 34 points in wins over South Beloit and Morris. He is averaging on the season 25 points a game.
Head Coach Tim Thompson said that Rosenwinkel may be out for several weeks with the high ankle injury.
The injury puts Rochelle's top 2 returning players on the shelf with injuries. Grant Prusator continues a rehab program with his right knee. He is scheduled to return to the line-up in mid-January. Prusator was averaging 18 points a game in the 3 games he played this season.
Junior guard Angel Burciaga is expected to play tonight as he returns from an ankle injury.
Junior guard Jake Ryan remains out as he recovers from a concussion.
