Bulls lose the the Clippers while the Illini remain unbeaten

Blake Griffin had 22 points with 10 rebounds to lead the Clippers in a 94-89 win over the Bulls.  Chris Paul added 18 points while Matt Barnes scored 14 off the bench for Los Angeles, which has won seven straight to improve to 15-and-6.  DeAndre Jordan had seven points and 10 boards for the Clippers.  Carlos Boozer had 24 points and 13 boards while Joakim Noah added 10 points with 11 boards and six assists in the loss.  Marco Belinelli finished with 18 points, seven rebounds and five assists for Chicago, which had won its previous three.  The Bulls fell to 11-and-9 with the loss.

Illinois got a scare from Norfolk State last night at Assembly Hall before taking down the Spartans, 64-54.  Brandon Paul led the way for the 10th-ranked Illini with 14 points and eight rebounds.  Illinois improved to 11-and-0 on the season  The Illini host Eastern Kentucky on Sunday evening.
