The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission is investigating the circumstances of a deadly drunk driving incident involving two Dallas Cowboys players. Reports indicate that the commission is investigating the business where Cowboys nose tackle Josh Brent might have gotten so drunk Saturday morning, that he drove his vehicle off the road, killing teammate Jerry Brown, who was a passenger. Brent has been charged with intoxication manslaughter and was released from custody Sunday on half a million dollars bond.
Brent and Brown played their college football at the University of Illinois. Brent also has a prior DUI conviction.
