The Cubs have agreed to a one-year, six-million-dollar deal with pitcher Scott Feldman. The 29-year-old right-hander was 6-and-11 with a 5.09 ERA in 29 games with Texas last season, including 21 starts. Feldman is 39-and-44 with a 4.81 ERA since making his debut with the Rangers in 2005.
The White Sox finalized their coaching staff for 2013 on Tuesday. The Pale Hose named Daryl Boston first base coach, Bobby Thigpen bullpen coach and Harold Baines assistant hitting coach. Pitching coach Don Cooper, hitting coach Jeff Manto, third base coach Joe McEwing, bench coach Mark Parent and bullpen coach Mark Salas will all return from last season.
