Congratulations goes out to the KIshwaukee Community College Women's Volleyball team who recently qualified for the NJCAA Division II National Tournament in Toledo, Ohio.
Kish is currently (30-13) on the season and finished their 13th straight year as Region 4 Champions. They also won their 16th straight Arrowhead Conference title with a perfect (12-0) record.
The conference and Region 4 "Coach of the Year" was Stephanie Gooden who is in her 1st season at Kish.
Gooden is the former Head Coach in the volleyball programs at Rochelle Township High School and DeKalb High School.
Arrowhead All-Conference players included MVP Janelle Gerds, Mackenzie Johnson, Kayla Waddell, and Rosie Aumann.
All region 4 players included Johnson, Gerds, and Aumann. Johnson and Gerds are also All-American Candidates.
The NJCAA Division II National Volleyball Tournament at Owens Community College in Ohio begins on November 21st and ends on the 24th.
Last season, Kishwaukee finished in 3rd place at the National Tournament with a (36-10) record.
This is the 14th consecutive year they have qualified for the National Tournament. Kish has won 3 National titles in the program.
