Joakim Noah posted 23 points and 10 rebounds to pace the Bulls to a 93-87 season-opening win over the Kings. Richard Hamilton added 19 points while Luol Deng chipped in with 12 rebounds in the win. Carlos Boozer turned in 18 points and eight rebounds for Chicago. The Bulls hit the road for the first time on Friday against the Cavaliers.
Forward Taj Gibson has agreed to a four-year extension with the Chicago Bulls. The contract is worth $38-million and goes through the 2016-17 season. Gibson averaged nearly eight points and five rebounds over 63 games last season.
