Bears quarterback Jay Cutler expects to practice this week and doesn't feel his bruised ribs will be a problem come Sunday. Cutler was injured in Monday's 13-7 win over Detroit when Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh drove him into the ground on a sack in the second quarter. Cutler, who finished the game, said on his weekly radio show on ESPN 1000 Tuesday that he'll "be good to go" for practice this week.
The NFL is saying the hit by Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh on Bears quarterback Jay Cutler was legal. The league confirmed to NFL Network that Suh will not be fined for his hard takedown Monday night that left Cutler slumped over in pain. Cutler briefly came out of the game before returning. He later called Suh's hit a clean play.
