Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffery is expected to be out of action for four-to-six weeks to to a right hand injury. Jeffery was hurt in Sunday's blowout win over the Jaguars. The rookie has 14 catches for 184 yards and two touchdowns this season.
The Bulls begin preseason play against the Grizzlies at the United Center at 7:00 tonight. The contest is the first of three exhibition games for the Bulls this week. Chicago will host Cleveland at Assembly Hall on Friday before hitting the road to face the Timberwolves on Saturday.
It's unclear if Bulls center Joakim Noah will play in tonight's game against the Grizzlies. Head coach Tom Thibodeau said Noah missed his third straight practice yesterday due to personal reasons. Noah will be a game-time decision.
