Lucas Harrell and three relievers combined on a two-hitter as the Astros blanked the Cubs, 3-0, in the first of a three-game series. Harrell fanned seven over six innings to improve to 11-and-11. Wesley Wright got the final four outs for his first save. Fernando Martinez homered, Matt Dominquez smacked an RBI triple and Scott Moore added a run-scoring single in the win. Jason Berken allowed two runs in four-and-two-thirds innings to fall to 0-and-3. The Cubs suffered their 100th loss of the season.
