Gavin Floyd struck out nine over seven shutout innings and the White Sox held on for a 3-2 win over the Twins. Floyd scattered five hits and walked none to improve to 6-and-7. Addison Reed allowed two runs in the ninth, but held on for his 10th save. Alex Rios hit a two-run homer and scored on an Alexei Ramirez single for the White Sox. Jamey Carroll smacked a two-run single for the Twins. Liam Hendriks allowed all three runs over six-and-a-third innings to fall to 0-and-5.
